● Given the large number of serious injuries, deaths, and lawsuits from inaccurate prescription dosage information printed on drug containers, architected replacement network to update 80,000 pharmacist's notebooks on a nightly basis to reduce the quantity of incorrect prescription dosage information provided to pharmacists.

 

Boet – 2001 to 2004 Telecom Engineer and IT project manager for commercial bank and managed day-to-day call center operations and upgrades of 21 remote phone systems. 

● Managed financial estimation and budget tracking in assigned projects.
● Designed, implemented, and upgraded a frame relay network to MPLS, increased throughput by 200%.

● One client filed lawsuit against the firm over billing disputes.  I obviated the client’s lawsuit, by negotiating the settlement of billing disputes.

NEC SONET Engineer, DWDM Engineer, Project Manager 2000 to 2001

Qwest, our largest customer, decided to stop purchasing hardware, which would have bankrupted NEC.  Project manager who conducted two pilot programs, which restored both technical and social confidence in NEC’s products.  Knowledge of Sonet, TDM, VOIP, operations, construction, network upgrades.  Knowledge of IXC/CLEC inter-company operations and procedures for effective Transport Provisioning and Coordination.

●Designed DLC hardware solution reusing existing cabinets resulted in saving 6 weeks construction time and $240,000 savings for each pilot or ~500,000.00 total savings.  Awarded Brass Plaque by NEC.

● Designed, priced, and recommended digital loop carrier (DLC), SONET, and M13 multiplexor hardware solutions, for Qwest, MCI, Sprint, WorldCom and CLEC customers.  Worked with the Implementation team on new contracts or add on services and managed project installation.

● OC-48 ring exposed to a hurricane, 3’ of saltwater, and 18 “ of muck; was moved OC-48 ring from Miami to 3 cities; project manager who negotiated the reuse of OC-48 ring hardware which saved Sprint $600,000.00. Awarded Brass Plaque by NEC.

● Moved, installed, re-configured, and turned-up DWDM system on-schedule and under budget.

● Designed multiple OC-3 or OC-12 rings; each fed a cellular tower; each Sonet ring used for backhaul traffic.
